NM FIESTA Project Training: Trauma and Learning

Event description: Participants will be able to explain how trauma affects learning and behavior, identify common trauma-related learning challenges, and use three practical, trauma-informed strategies at home to support their child’s academic engagement and emotional regulation.

The NM FIESTA Project managed by All Faiths Children’s Advocacy Center focuses on creating a support system for all resource, kinship, and adoptive families in New Mexico through networking events, training, and connection to resources.
