Learning Target: Oppositional Defiant Disorder, commonly known as ODD, is a behavioral condition that primarily affects children and adolescents. It is characterized by a pattern of angry, irritable mood, argumentative behavior, and defiance toward authority figures. Recognizing and understanding ODD is crucial for parents, teachers, and caregivers. By identifying the signs early, supportive strategies can be implemented to help children develop healthier coping mechanisms and improve their behavior. With the right support and intervention, children with ODD can learn to manage their emotions and build positive relationships with those around them.
