Session 2: Thursday, March 23, 2023 | 9am – 12:15pm

This workshop/training will review the connection between trauma and its impact on regulation and relationship and academic, social, and behavioral struggles, as well as successes. Workshop/training gives participants the opportunity to review the trauma lens as well as a practical overview of basic brain function and impact of trauma on the brain’s organization, function and structure. Workshop will take a deeper dive into various other topics to include Adverse Childhood Experiences study as it related to compensatory behaviors, substance use misuse, addiction, and the reward system.

*This is a two-part virtual training offering continuing education credits through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC Provider #7093). Attendees must participate in both sessions to receive CE hours. No partial credits will be given.
