It is well known that New Mexico ranks 49th in the nation for child well-being, a position it has held for 6 consecutive years.  In 2017, there were 5,956 substantiated cases of child maltreatment in New Mexico, with 1,732 in Bernalillo County alone (CYFD’s 360 Yearly Report). Within those substantiated cases of abuse/neglect 2,245 children were identified as victims. All Faiths serves over 3,000 children and their families each year — half in our forensic program and half in the behavioral health programs.
