NM FIESTA Project Training: Helping Children Through Intense Emotions
By the end of this training, parents will be able to recognize the signs of intense emotional states in their children, respond with at least three trauma‑sensitive calming strategies, and practice one predictable, safe routine to help my child regain regulation during and after strong emotions.
An email will be sent following registration with more information. Training certificates will be emailed to families following the event.
The NM FIESTA Project managed by All Faiths Children’s Advocacy Center focuses on creating a support system for all resource, kinship, and adoptive families in New Mexico through networking events, training, and connection to resources. All services are free of charge. For more information about the NM FIESTA Project please contact Katie Bustamante, NM FIESTA Project Statewide Supervisor, at kbustamante@allfaiths.org or 505-918-0221.
